Reading my feeds, I saw in Efetividade.net an article on how to make better use of available space on the screen, using Firefox.
Here, the author to some of its experience with the Eee PC and its limitations of screen resolution. Basically, he found the Firefox 2 plugins used to "zip" to the menu bar and save space on screen when using the browser.
After reading the article, tested the 2 plugins cited. Personally, like most of the Compact Menu, to be more customizable (you can place it where you want to, the "bar of icons") and the option of having simply an icon indicative of where the menus are, instead of "Menu" , And in another extension that the Holy quoted.
Then, based on tests I made (and in my personal taste), I recommend, for those who want (and / or must) save space on screen or simply "lighten the look" of Firefox, the installation of plugin Compact Menu.
